I am Martin Sørensen, and I run Alfen Consulting ApS: senior finance and executive support for growing companies. I am a one-person practice and I do every engagement myself.

I have run finance and operations inside a real company, together with a team. Before Alfen I was COO and CFO at Billetto, a European ticketing platform. Today I use AI to do that kind of work faster and more precisely, alongside the people who own the result. Alfen runs its own finance the same way, and I will show you how.

    I ran operations and finance for a European event technology and ticketing platform. That meant financial planning and forecasting, cash and working capital, SaaS metrics, a weekly performance routine tied to forecasts, new revenue streams, and a restructuring and investor process.

    Part of the team that built new services, delivering strategy and large technology programmes. I led the technical delivery of a global inventory-forecasting programme, ran a ten-person rapid-prototyping unit, and advised a public-sector board on data quality.

Education and recognition

MSc in Engineering (Physics and Nanotechnology) from the Technical University of Denmark. Named in Berlingske Talent 100 in 2015, among Denmark's 100 most promising young business talents.

How I think about the work

I work across strategy, finance, execution and governance, because separating them is often how companies lose momentum. My focus is decision quality: helping an organisation grow without losing clarity or accountability. I think like an owner, not like a function.
