I work alongside you, typically half a day to a day a week over several months, in your tools and with your team. On every build the aim is the same: you can run it without me.

I work in your tools, with the people who will own the result. I do not hand over a report and leave.

Your team learns each build by making it with me, so it stays yours and does not depend on me.

Finance and AI change fast. I tell you what is worth adopting and what is not, including when the answer is nothing.

Everything I build is documented, so your team can read it, run it and change it. When it runs without me, I have done the job.
The shape of an engagement
Side by side for several months, then you run it alone. If a new need comes up later, you can ask me again. You are never tied in.
A first meeting
I listen. You tell me where the numbers stop helping, and you decide whether I am the right help. If I am, I propose what to build first.

People often call this fractional CFO work, and it is close. The difference is that on each build I aim to make myself unnecessary, rather than to become your finance department.
